Italian Cuisine Joins the UNESCO Heritage List and we couldn’t be any prouder of a journey we've helped create for over 20 years!
Today, Italy’s culinary legacy receives global recognition for its cultural significance. Not just a dish, not just a recipe, but a universe of traditions, rituals, and shared gestures is now officially acknowledged as a symbol of cultural uniqueness.
We couldn’t be prouder because we believed in this way before anyone else. Twenty years ago, we were the very first in Italy to offer cooking experiences to travellers from all over the world, the first to offer the chance to learn such a unique art, a true cultural tradition.
Twenty years ago, in Florence, we opened our very first cooking school inspired by our sweet Nonna Wilma (our CEO Luca Perfetto’s grandma), with the vision that Italian cuisine was far more than technique: it was a living, breathing cultural heritage.
Since then, we have brought this approach to our professional cooking schools all over Italy, shaping experiences where tradition becomes knowledge, connection, and joy, making us the leading company of this special art, ambassadors and guardians of this culture.
Nonna Wilma would be immensely happy today, seeing UNESCO recognise Italian cuisine as a true “cuisine of affection,” and watching us share her passion and her recipes, which become joy, happiness, and unforgettable memories for travellers from every corner of the globe.
We will keep doing this with our core values of quality, authenticity, and innovation that shape every experience we create. We will keep cherishing the memories of Nonna Wilma, with respect for her and for our culture — the most important thing we Italians have.
Nonna, we made it!
