Today the associated partners from Poland with support of the project partner Youth Support Centre implemented workshops within Advocacy Service Learning to tackle Human Rights Education and promotion of tolerance and acceptance.

We had a chance to meet with youth coming from highschools to explore their ideas and put them into practice together.

One of the groups organised integration session for students with special needs and fewer opportunities coming from their neighbourhood. Together they created artistic expression of their thoughts regarding the topic in the form of a post cards which they will send to chosen schools in Europe.

Another working team came up with several ideas of action how to promote tolerance and Human Rights among other teenagers. They created plans of activities to be implemented in the near future such as TIKTOK video, interviews video, ✉️ box for secret messages to claim human rights violations at school and informative poster.

Besides, our youth workers could discuss with young participants nowadays challenges and further needs.

Co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme.

"In streets and halls, voices unite,
Artivism sparks, its powerful light.
Brushstrokes protest, sculptures bold,
Photographs capture truths untold.

Poets' ink, words ignite,
Dance rebels, in the night.
Art and action merge as one,
Changing minds till battles won."

April 6th we celebate the International As*xuality Day (IAD). IAD is a coordinated worldwide campaign promoting the ace umbrella, including demis*xual, grey-as*xual and other ace identities.

The four themes of IAD are:
*Advocacy*
*Celebration*
*Education*
*Solidarity*

Because there is significant variation among those who identify as as*xual, the term as*xuality can encompass broad definitions. An as*xual person does not experience s*xual attraction. Differently from celibacy, which is a choice to abstain from s*xual activity, as*xuality is an intrinsic part of who the person is, as in other s*xual orientations.

Despite lacking s*xual attraction, some as*xuals might engage in purely romantic relationships, while others may not. Some who identify as as*xual report that they experience s*xual attraction, though lack the inclination to act on it, citing no desire to engage in s*xual activity—some as*xuals also lack the desire to engage in non-s*xual physical activity such as cuddling or hand-holding, while others choose to do so. As*xual people may seek relationships without romantic or s*xual activity, known as "q***rplatonic relationships". A squish is a term used by the as*xual community to describe a non-s*xual crush.

The term "gray as*xuality" refers to the spectrum between as*xuality and non-as*xuality (also referred to as allos*xuality). Individuals who identify as gray as*xual may occasionally experience s*xual attraction, or only experience s*xual attraction as a secondary component once a reasonably stable or large emotional connection has been formed with the target, known as demis*xuality.

Get ready to celebrate! During 22-28 of April 2024!

Le***an Visibility Week is supported by the Diversity Umbrella Foundation.
https://www.le***anvisibilityweek.com/

There has been a Le***an Visibility Day since 2008.

Le***an Visibility Week aims to show our solidarity with all LGBTQI woman and non binary people in the community, as well as celebrate le***ans. It is essential that Le***an Visibility Week is a voice for unity and lifts up ALL women, especially those who come from marginalised communities. Recent research (Pride Matters survey, conducted by Pride In London 2018) has shown that gay women are almost twice as unlikely to be out in the workplace as gay male colleagues.

Le***an Visibility Week recognises, celebrates and importantly supports le***an, bis*xual, transgender and q***r women across the UK and beyond to be their true selves at work, at home and socially.
