Jazz Festival since 1996 and Academy since 2002 in the city of Meran/o, Südtirol/Alto Adige, Italy. Open to all, beginners and experts!

Meranojazz takes place every year in July, with musicians and teachers from the international and local jazz scene. The Merano Jazz clinics (mitteleuropean jazz academy Merano from 2002) is directed by art directors Franco D’Andrea and Ewald Kontschieder, who guarantee a high level of quality. rento/Italy 1994-2006 and at Siena Jazz, is considered one of the most famous jazz musicians from Italy and Europe (2011 “European Jazzmusician of the Year for his life’s work “, Academie du Jazz, Paris) and has recorded more than 200 albums. Maestro D’Andrea and other teachers from many countries in the world will introduce interested parties to the world of Jazz. Attendees are those with musical experience who want to expand their artistic horizon.
