Queste sono le cose di cui ho bisogno per avere una vita soddisfacente e per essere una professionista orgogliosa. E tu?

💃 Il ballo è sempre stato qualcosa di molto difficile per me, poi grazie a ho scoperto la gioia del movimento, che mi ha aiutata a socializzare in un paese straniero, a imparare parole che ho usato anche fuori dalle lezioni di ballo (pegar, llevar, venga va, ca**ón 😂...)! 🇪🇦

La ripetizione costante di parole associata a vedere veramente le persone fare quelle cose è uno strumento molto potente di apprendimento di una lingua straniera!
E tu? Balli? Balli in un paese straniero? In quali modi questo ti ha aiutat* a imparare meglio la lingua, o anche la cultura, di quel paese?

🚗🚗🚗 Quando sono arrivata per la prima volta all'ostello di Menaggio non sapevo che quei 5 mesi di lavoro avrebbero cambiato la mia vita per sempre.
Il Lago di Como, anche se non è più la mia base per la vita di tutti i giorni, vive nel mio cuore 💜💚💛💙 rent free ormai da 11 anni.
E comunque durante l'estate sono sempre al lago per , il progetto che mi ha cambiato la vita! 🧑‍🏫

💡💡💡 Lo sapevi che in italiano "un giallo" è un libro poliziesco?
Questo nome è usato ormai da quasi 100 anni, e si riferisce a una fortunata scelta editoriale della casa editrice Mondadori, che ancora oggi pubblica più di 40 gialli ogni anno!
📖 In Italia amiamo molti autori stranieri, io per esempio ho letto quasi tutto quello che esiste di Dennis Lehane.
Però c'è un autore italiano che ha pubblicato 28 romanzi basati sull'ispettore Montalbano, poi diventati una famosissima serie TV.
Di gialli italiani ho letto, con le studentesse e gli studenti del gruppo di lettura, "Un uomo in mutande", di Andrea Vitali.
E tu? Hai qualche consiglio da dare, a me e a chi ama imparare leggendo, per letture future?

I've been selected for The Break Fellowship Programme over almost 3.000 applicants!

The Break is a EU-funded programme for women entrepreneurs towards creating a stronger women-led business ecosystem in Europe. 

The journey began in March online, and today, 19th May, I am flying to Madrid.
I can't wait to see where this journey leads me to. I feel honoured and will make the most of this amazing opportunity!

🥂 I started 2023 talking about new year's resolutions with my students, as I usually do.
Last year we worked on S.M.A.R.T. resolutions (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound), whereas for 2023 we went all dreamy and idealistic: more of xyz, less of abc, and concrete actions to get there. 💪
My main one was: "more instability, less comfort", because I was so lucky as to have 3 incredible years with a lot of work and pets and friends, finally getting along well with my family, living for the first time in an apartment that I bought. So I felt I needed a shake and some news.
And I decided to try the digital nomad life.
I am still at my first experiences, it's not time for evaluations, but I can tell you this:
🌏 My fears and worries: most of them are gone, simply because most of the times there was a solution that I just couldn't see before
🌎 My expectations were mainly wrong: things are just mainly not as I thought they would be, especially regarding other people. They are just the same as back home (each with their own individuality and personality) but with most of them I share something that matters a lot to me, which is a unique experience. 🌏 Working: I have to admit that I'm often tempted to just cease the day and cancel most of my appointments, but with time I am getting better. I have also met Emanuela .me.sun who is helping me organise my work better
🌏 Future: yes, I will be doing this more and more, maybe visiting areas where my remote students live :)
