Cooking in Italy with Susie

Bringing a taste of Italy to you! Susie of Tuscany Easy Travel with AnnaMaria and Mariaemilia of Pa Two cooking classes will be offered each month.

The first class you will learn how to make traditional antipasto and first course dishes, the second class will include the main course and dessert. At the end of each months classes, you will have learned how to make an entire Italian meal! AnnaMaria and Mariaemilia hope to share a few Italian cooking tips along the way! We will also have featured classes the will focus on Italian wines, baking, and seasonal dishes. It would be our honor to share a bit of Italy with you.

Venice Cooking Class with Chef Michele. What a fun adventure in cooking. We learned some history of the dishes of Venice. Picked fresh vegetables, and fish from the market. Prepared a meal of seasonal white asparagus, fresh pasta with shrimp in a pea and mint sauce, seasonal fish with artichokes, and fresh strawberry gelato. Thanks Chef it was simply an amazing class!

Day three with the Ondrak family from Texas. We had a tour in the morning of the beautiful and learned how this business makes its fantastic wine! It was then time to say goodbye and move from southern Tuscany to the northern area of Tuscany. We then made our way to Florence for the regional train to my village, Marradi. Once we arrived, AnnaMaria of Palazzo Torriani had refreshments and fresh fruit for a "welcome." We then had time to relax before our cooking class with AnnaMaria. We cooked together and ate together it was a beautiful relaxing evening.
