🎉 The first Summer School on Climate-Smart Agriculture organizer at Dipartimento DAFNAE - Università di Padova has successfully come to an end! 🌱🌍
What an incredible week it has been!
From July 5–10, participants took part in an intensive programme combining in-depth academic learning with hands-on field and laboratory activities. Together with an outstanding international faculty from the University of Padua, Technical University of Munich, Aarhus University, and the University of Georgia, we explored the three pillars of Climate-Smart Agriculture:
🌾 Productivity & Income
🌿 Resilience
🌎 Mitigation
The programme also included field visits and inspiring meetings with farmers and fishermen who are facing the real impacts of climate change every day, as well as the opportunity to discover the unique landscapes of the Po Delta and the rich historical and cultural heritage of Università di Padova.
Beyond the lectures and activities, the true highlight was the community we built. New friendships, international collaborations, and professional connections among students and faculty will remain the lasting legacy of this unforgettable experience.
