The new call for applications for the INTERNATIONAL MASTER'S DEGREE COURSE in DIGITAL HUMANITIES (Classe LM-43) has been published, A.Y 2022-2023.
There are 15 Places available to non-EU citizens living abroad.
The main objective of the Master course is the promotion of integration between the knowledge of the European cultural heritage and current developments in the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) sectors, in order to allow the training of new specialists and experts capable of responding to the needs of new content for the Information Society and effectively mastering these skills in the context of practical applications.
The focus is on strengthening:
✔transversal skills, such as those related to digital technologies for cultural heritage;
✔ specific project and innovation management skills for cultural heritage;
✔ skills useful for the design, implementation and management of complex digital cultural objects;
✔ skills related to the legal, economic and communication aspects of digitization projects.
The course aims to train an expert in the use of digital technologies applied to the cultural heritage sector, with adequate knowledge also in the field of historical, archaeological and historical-artistic research, able to perform high-level functions by inter-relating
with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (central and peripheral institutes and bodies), with local territorial authorities (Region, Province, Municipality), with other public bodies and institutions and with private organizations operating in the field of study and protection, management, use, communication and enhancement of Cultural Heritage.
