Gardening is so much more than planting seeds—it’s an opportunity for children to grow, explore, and connect with nature. 🌱🌼
Our Grade 1 students look forward to their gardening lessons each week, where they enjoy getting their hands dirty while developing important life skills. From digging and planting to watering and caring for their garden, these hands-on activities help strengthen both fine and gross motor skills, encourage responsibility, and build confidence.
Spending time outdoors also promotes emotional well-being, offering a peaceful environment where children can relax, stay focused, and appreciate the wonders of the natural world. It’s no surprise that gardening has become one of the favourite highlights of the week for our young learners! 🌿💚
