On May 27 and 28, the AirLabò Project Committee met in at the headquarters of Confindustria Centro Nord Sardegna 🤝🏼
This cross-border initiative is dedicated to improving air quality in port cities through advanced scientific tools, widespread monitoring networks, and participatory processes with local stakeholders.
All the project's operational partners attended the meeting: the Fondazione Accademia Italiana della Marina Mercantile, Confindustria Centro-Nord Sardegna, AtmoSud, Qualitair Corse, Techne Consulting, Arpal and Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Tirreno Settentrionale 🌀
The joint presence of the partners allowed for a broad and concrete discussion on the progress of the activities and to jointly plan the next steps, with a specific focus on strengthening Living Labs, spaces for dialogue between ports, businesses, scientific institutions, and citizens.
🇮🇹🇫🇷 The collaboration between the Italian and French partners confirms the shared desire to build a shared approach to air quality management, capable of combining technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and economic development.

⚠️ Hazardous cargo compensation regime moves to entry into force 📃

Marine Accident Investigation Procedures 💥
This intensive course, based on IMO Model course 3.11, is aimed at assisting the national marine accident investigation authorities in ensuring uniformity and consistency when carrying out investigations into marine casualties and incidents. The course addresses the effective implementation of the provisions of SOLAS regulations I/21 and XI-1/6 and the related IMO Casualty Investigation Course.
