Ok this is so fun (and slightly chaotic). Apparently every state has “that one word” everyone trips over — so I’m turning it into a quick pronunciation challenge 👇

I’m standing on grass.

Grass is the plant — green, soft, under your feet.

When this grass is cut and cared for, like here,
we call it a lawn.

If this lawn is part of a house, especially in American English,
it’s also called a yard.

A garden is different —
that’s where we grow plants, vegetables, or flowers.

And a field?
Bigger, open land, often for sports or farming.

Same green ground…
different words, different meanings.
