Moments from our Final Demonstration ✨

What a beautiful way to conclude an incredible week of learning, hard work and growth.

Our students presented beautiful work, prepared with dedication and care by our wonderful faculty. It was a true joy to see how much they developed, both technically and artistically, in just one week.

The aim of a Summer School is to inspire students to challenge themselves and take their work to a higher level.

We feel incredibly proud to say that, together, we achieved that goal. ❤️

Thank you to all our students and teachers for making this week so special.

Thank you! ❤️

And just like that, the curtain comes down on the 3rd Edition of the International Cecchetti Summer School – Italy.

Another year, another wonderful success — with participants joining us from 9 countries across 3 continents.

Throughout an intense week of classes, our students and teachers worked incredibly hard, challenged themselves, and made remarkable progress in such a short time. We are immensely proud of everything they have achieved.

A heartfelt thank you goes to:

- Our incredible 2026 faculty:
Diane van Schoor, Gillian Hurst, Vanessa Palmer, Tania Fairbairn, Lynsey Kidd, Cinzia Maestri, David Yow, Simon Kidd, Simone Donati and Roland Thompson.

- Our wonderful pianists:
Maestro Daniela Di Nuzzo and Maestro Marzio Vaccarini.

- Our amazing team:
Stefania Sansavini, Artistic Director; Diego Cardelli, Co-organiser; Fabiola Matulli, Sabina Sansavini and Valentina Falcini.

- Angiolina & Valeria Caccini, great-granddaughters of Maestro Enrico Cecchetti, who once again honoured us with their presence at the Final Demonstration.

- Daniela from .danzando, for her impeccable assistance with travel and accommodation arrangements.

- Janira Tarquini (.photography), our official photographer, for capturing so many special moments of this edition.

And, last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to all our participants — students and teachers alike — for believing in the value of our Summer School and for bringing your passion, commitment and enthusiasm to Forlì.

It has been a truly special week, and we are already looking forward to welcoming you back.

FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to personal circumstances, Michele Di Molfetta and Lucia Pravisani will unfortunately be unable to join us for this year’s Summer School.

We feel incredibly fortunate and honoured that Lynsey Kidd and Simon Kidd have both accepted our invitation to join the Summer School faculty at such short notice. We are certain that our students will thoroughly enjoy working with them throughout the week just as they did last year.

Lynsey and Simon both enjoyed successful careers as professional dancers and are now Directors of Mentors in Ballet Education in Burnley.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Lynsey and Simon back to our faculty and in wishing Michele a smooth and speedy recovery.

Another successful edition for the International Cecchetti Summer School – Italy!

We are delighted to share that, once again, our Summer School has attracted students and teachers from all over the world. Seeing our dance community grow more international each year makes us incredibly proud and confirms our commitment to providing the highest quality educational experience.

From an internationally renowned and diverse faculty to a carefully structured curriculum for every level, from professional sprung dance floors to fully air-conditioned studios, every detail is thoughtfully planned. For us, these are not optional extras—they are essential elements in creating the best possible environment for learning and artistic growth.

Our commitment to quality continues to be rewarded. As we celebrate our 3rd Edition, we are thrilled to see both participation and international representation reaching new heights.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has chosen ICSS as their Summer Intensive.

We cannot wait to welcome you all in just over a month!
