The PRIN 2020 WEBEST Project, in collaboration with the Faculty Development of University of Foggia, organized an international dissemination workshop dedicated to -Based Learning and applications in higher education.

During the two-day event, participants had the opportunity to engage with internationally renowned scholars, including Larry Michaelsen, who conducted workshops focused on the Team-Based Learning methodology, and Radu State, expert in Network Management and Cyber Security and Head of the SEDAN – Service and Data Management research group at the University of Luxembourg.

The initiative brought together academics, students, researchers, and agricultural entrepreneurs to discuss innovative educational methodologies and explore the intersections between collaborative learning approaches and Blockchain technologies. The event also represented an important opportunity for knowledge exchange, international collaboration, and dissemination of the activities carried out within the PRIN 2020 WEBEST Project.

The workshops took place on April 29–30, 2026, at the Department of Humanities and the Economic Area Library of the University of Foggia.

PRIN WEBEST at EuAWE 2025 in Zaragoza!
From May 14 to 17, 2025, the 4th Conference of the European Association of Wine Economists (EuAWE) was held in Zaragoza, Spain. The PRIN WEBEST group, with the presence of the UNIVPM-D3A agricultural economics group Prof. Adele Finco, Dr. Deborah Bentivoglio, and Dr. Giulia Chiaraluce, presented the contribution titled "BLOCKCHAIN IN A GLASS: THE FUTURE OF MADE IN ITALY FOR WINE CONSUMERS." The work investigates Italian consumers’ knowledge about blockchain, the factors affecting their choice to buy a wine traced via blockchain, and their willingness to pay for a blockchain-traced wine. On February 20, 2025, Università degli Studi di Palermo hosted IFAMA for the workshop “Blockchain and Digitainability Across Food Supply Chains”, bringing together top academics to discuss innovations in agrifood systems. 🚀🌱

With support from W.E. B.E.S.T. PRIN, InSTraDaRE, and AgriTech Spoke 9, experts from , , , and explored Blockchain, circularity, and digital traceability in wine and olive oil supply chains. 🍷🍃
