On 28–29 September 2026, AIOTI Days 2026 will bring together the European innovation community in Florence for two days of discussions, thematic sessions and networking opportunities dedicated to AI, IoT and Edge Computing.
The agenda will explore key topics including Generative AI, Artificial Intelligence applied to manufacturing, AI and data ecosystems for predictive and integrated chronic care, ICT for GHG emissions reduction, Energy and 6G convergence, trustworthy IoT ecosystems, cultural heritage and Agristack.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐈𝐎𝐓𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐀 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝?
AIOTI — the Alliance for IoT and Edge Computing Innovation — promotes, connects and supports collaboration in the fields of IoT and Edge Computing, with a focus on research and innovation, standardisation and ecosystem building.
Its mission is to support the deployment of IoT and Edge Computing across European enterprises, creating benefits and new opportunities for European society as a whole.
MEDEA Project is a member of AIOTI and chairs one of its key Working Groups: the Health Working Group.
Through this role, MEDEA supports AIOTI by enhancing the visibility of Working Group members in key contexts, facilitating networking and know-how sharing, and supporting the creation of new collaboration and market opportunities, including within European programmes such as Horizon Europe and Digital Europe.

Quando il Movimento fa la Differenza” event hosted by the University of Bologna.
During the "Technology and Innovation in Movement" session Elena Tamburini from MEDEA and Laura Bragonzoni from the University of Bologna presented the Puremind vision for an Integrated Mental Health Ecosystem supporting early identification and personalised interventions for young people with ASD and ADHD through technology and innovation.
The discussion also highlighted the important role that physical activity can play in supporting mental wellbeing and inclusion for neurodivergent children and adolescents.

We are proud to share that our project AGAPE has been featured among the AAL Programme Success Stories! 🎉

Led by Medea, AGAPE developed an innovative methodology to support the adoption of digital solutions in real-life care ecosystems, helping older adults, caregivers, and policymakers embrace innovation in a more effective and sustainable way.
Through user profiling, personalised coaching and ecosystem mapping, AGAPE showed that innovation truly succeeds when it starts from real needs and supports people step by step.
