Santa Giusta, lying on the banks of the pond of the same name, is an agricultural village that stands on the remains of the Phoenician-Punic city of Othoca.
The pond of Santa Giusta is the third largest pond in Sardinia (790 hectares) and is fed by various agricultural canals and some small secondary ponds, including Pauli Majori and Pauli 'e Figu.
