The workshop "The Ethical Challenges of the Study of Ancient West Asia on the Issue of Accountability in Research" was held at the Université de Liège on the 11th and 12th of June.
Included among the experts present was Alesia Koush (CAMNES; UNESCO Chair in Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property and Cultural Rights, University of Siena), who delivered a paper focused on "Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property and Human Rights".

On May 27, the preliminary results of the project will be presented, for the first time, at the University of Warsaw by Stefano Valentini (co-director of CAMNES).
During the international conference "Back to Tell Arbid. The 30th Anniversary of the Syrian-Polish Archaeological Expedition", he will give a talk titled "'It's not the Destination, It's the Journey'. New Evidence for the LC-EBA transition from Gird-i Ali Mawlan (Erbil Plain, Iraqi Kurdistan)".

Tomorrow, Stefano Valentini (co-director of CAMNES) will present "Connecting the Dots: Shaping the Ninevite 5 Phenomenon" as part of the IMOC PAS Archaeological Seminar, organised by the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures, Polish Academy of Sciences.
The lecture will be held online via MS Teams on Tuesday, May 12th, at 2:30 PM (CET).
