During Pitti Uomo 110, Pathos Formulas transformed the former Teatro dell’Oriuolo in Florence into a space for exploring the relationships between fashion, visual culture and contemporary creative practices.
A special chapter closes, but the questions, connections and reflections it generated continue to resonate.

IED Firenze and present Nothing Special, a talk with artist Pascal Hachem () and designer Philéo Landowski (PHILÉO LANDOWSKI).

Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden visited IED Firenze to the historic Palazzo Pucci, meeting students and exploring the spaces where design, fashion and craftsmanship are shaped every day.

IED Firenze was honored to welcome Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden for a visit across its Florence campuses.
At the Bufalini campus, the Royal Couple took part in a presentation within the Master’s Program in Interior and Furniture Design, engaging with students’ projects exploring craftsmanship, materials and contemporary design practices.
They also met a group of Swedish students currently studying across IED campuses in Italy.
The visit continued at the historic Palazzo Pucci , home to IED Firenze’s fashion laboratories, accompanied by .pucci.
A meaningful moment of exchange celebrating creativity, education and the cultural connection between Sweden and Italy.
Special thanks to the Consulate of Sweden in Florence for its support and collaboration.

Students from the MA in Interior and Furniture Design - Hacking Tradition: Reinventing Craftsmanship and Materials, explored the craftsmanship of Fornace Mariani, a local excellence in terracotta production.
Guided by designer Andrea Vitti, they experimented with traditional techniques to create contemporary objects such as vases and home fragrance diffusers, reinterpreting tradition through new forms and uses.
