That’s a wrap.
During Pitti Uomo 110, Pathos Formulas transformed the former Teatro dell’Oriuolo in Florence into a space for exploring the relationships between fashion, visual culture and contemporary creative practices.

A special chapter closes, but the questions, connections and reflections it generated continue to resonate.

THE GLITCH CAMP WINS THE COMPASSO D’ORO 2026.

The highest recognition in Italian design goes to a project conceived to make Milano Design Week more accessible.
Since 2024, has welcomed students from all over the world, transforming temporary spaces into communities built on sharing, participation and exchange.
 
More than a campsite, a collective experience.
More than hospitality, a design action for the common good.
 




Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden visited IED Firenze to the historic Palazzo Pucci, meeting students and exploring the spaces where design, fashion and craftsmanship are shaped every day.

An exchange centered on creativity, education and the dialogue between Sweden and Italy.

Students from the MA in Interior and Furniture Design - Hacking Tradition: Reinventing Craftsmanship and Materials, explored the craftsmanship of Fornace Mariani, a local excellence in terracotta production.

Guided by designer Andrea Vitti, they experimented with traditional techniques to create contemporary objects such as vases and home fragrance diffusers, reinterpreting tradition through new forms and uses.
