🎨 What art and inclusion can look like in Florence
A room full of teachers.
A few painting supplies.
One shared challenge: turning inclusion into a message people can actually see and feel.
In our course “Arts for the Inclusion of Migrants, Refugees, and Disadvantaged Populations”, Monica showed participants how to work in teams to create their own art propaganda posters, combining creativity, collaboration, and powerful slogans around inclusion.
Because sometimes art says what words alone cannot.
It helps us cross language barriers, open conversations, and imagine diverse classrooms where every student can feel seen.
In the end, the question that really matters is always the same. How can we make every learner feel that they belong?

We all had that one teacher. ✨
Not the one who just explained things 📚, but the one who made us feel capable of something we didn’t even think we could do 💡🚀
That’s the kind of teacher this quote is really about.
That’s why we do this. 🙌
👩🏫👨🏫 Who was that teacher for you?

Most teaching strategies focus on what to teach.
Science suggests we should pay just as much attention to how the brain learns.
From desirable difficulties to retrieval practice, these findings can help turn information into lasting knowledge.
Which fact surprised you the most? 👇
Same materials. Same instructions. Same time ⏱
Same Duck? 🦆
Every student will build something different 👀
🧱 Give each student the same LEGO set
⏱ 1-minute timer
🦆 Challenge: build a duck
That’s when it becomes clear: creativity is not about one right answer 💡
It’s about thinking differently, solving problems, and expressing ideas in your own way.
Would your class build 10 different ducks or 20? 👇

We've heard every excuse. 😄
"I'm too old"; "One week won't change anything"; "There's nothing for my subject" >> Sound familiar? You're not alone
Most teachers who've done Erasmus+ say the same thing afterwards: "I wish I'd done it sooner."
The thing is, most of them almost didn't go. Not because they weren't interested. But because of one of these five things. 👇
Swipe through — and tell us in the comments: which one sounds most familiar to you? (And if you know a colleague who keeps putting it off — this one's for them too.)
👀 A student shouts: “This is boring!” mid-lesson.
Everyone hears it. You feel it. Now what do you do?
So… what would YOU say in that moment?
Because under pressure, teacher responses usually fall into a pattern:
⚡ Aggressive → quick reaction, high control, risk of escalation
😏 Passive-aggressive → sarcasm that looks calm but carries tension
🧘♀️ Assertive → calm boundary, clear direction, keeps learning on track
In this situation:
A 👉 sounds strong 💥 but can turn it personal and raise resistance
B 👉 looks controlled 😌 but the sarcasm still lands in the room
C 👉 is assertive 🎯 it acknowledges the moment and redirects it clearly
And this is the real point 💡
Classroom communication isn’t just about “replying” —
it’s about whether you reopen the lesson or deepen the conflict.
👇 So… which one would you actually say: A, B, or C?
Teacher: I’m fine
Also, teacher: Error 404: sleep not found
Simple idea. Big impact. 🎭⚡
When students understand the lesson but struggle to explain it clearly, theatre-based learning changes everything.
It turns content into action — and suddenly communication, listening, teamwork, and thinking on your feet start to grow in real time 🎬
This is Slideshow: a simple activity that transforms any topic into a living scene.
Would you try it in your classroom? 👇

May has just come to an end, and Europe has just finished celebrating its diversity.
In fact, the question isn't whether students are diverse. They are.
The question is: are we truly prepared for it?
According to the OECD, 44% of teachers say they've never received training to teach in a diverse classroom.
That's not just a criticism — it's a critical gap. And it's one that inclusive education can close.
Swipe through to see what inclusion really means — beyond the buzzword. 👆

If your students struggle to communicate and collaborate… try this LEGO challenge 👀
Students learn far more by DOING than by listening.
Split them into teams, give each group different building rules, a time limit… and one more catch: they can’t speak.
At first it feels chaotic — then suddenly, they start adapting, compromising, and solving problems together.
That’s where the real learning happens. 🧠✨
