We founded the first LINGUAVIVA School in 1976 in Florence with the aim of encouraging international students to learn Italian, to know our culture and to experience Italy. Linguaviva promotes the worldwide acknowledged values of the Italian lifestyle: creativity and inventiveness, tradition and innovation, warmth of human relations and taste for life. This is mirrored in the choice of Italian language programmes we offer and locations where Linguaviva is present: Florence, with its rich artistic and cultural heritage, Milan, icon of made in Italy which sums up creativity and technology, Lignano a pleasant location for a leisure and study stay for our younger students. Linguaviva’s commitment is to offer students the best possible learning resources, school facilities and wide range of Italian language courses. In addition, we are constantly investigating ways in which we can improve our services to you.

Imparare l’italiano non ha età 🇮🇹

Per la prima volta, il programma Fifty Plus di Linguaviva è arrivato anche a Milano, con un’esperienza pensata per gli over 50 che desiderano imparare la lingua e scoprire la cultura italiana.

Un piccolo gruppo di tre studenti ha vissuto la città tra lezioni di italiano, attività culturali e nuove esperienze da condividere ✨

For the first time, Linguaviva’s Fifty Plus programme has also arrived in Milan, offering a unique experience for over-50s who want to learn the language and discover Italian culture.

A small group of three students explored the city through Italian lessons, cultural activities and new experiences to share ✨

Because at Linguaviva, learning a language is also about meeting new people, discovering new places and experiencing Italy to the fullest ❤️

Una parola, tanti modi di usarla.

PURE può servire per:

👉 aggiungere qualcosa
“Vengo pure io.”

👉 dare il permesso
“Puoi entrare pure.”

👉 invitare qualcuno a fare qualcosa
“Prendi pure un caffè.”

👉 esprimere ironia o sfida, con il tono giusto
“Fai pure!”

🎯 Gli italiani la usano continuamente, e il suo significato cambia a seconda del contesto e dell’intonazione.

Non basta conoscere una parola, bisogna sapere quando e come usarla.

Ci sono esperienze che durano un mese, ma che lasciano il segno per tutta la vita 🇮🇹

Jennifer è arrivata a Firenze nel 2008 per un soggiorno linguistico con Linguaviva. Da quell’esperienza sono nati un Erasmus a Bologna, il desiderio di restare in Italia e, oggi, una vita costruita proprio a Firenze.

Ricevere il suo messaggio dopo tanti anni ci ricorda che imparare una lingua può essere l’inizio di qualcosa di molto più grande ❤️

Some experiences last just a month, but leave a mark that lasts a lifetime 🇮🇹

Jennifer came to Florence in 2008 for a language course with Linguaviva. That experience led to an Erasmus programme in Bologna, the desire to stay in Italy and, today, a life built right here in Florence.
