Italian Tutoring in Florence

Ciao. My name is Leonardo, and I am a very experienced Italian teacher as well as teacher trainer. I have been working with all sorts of students and in the most various settings. I have a Dilit International House Certificate for Teaching Italian.

Since 2000 I offer personal tutoring for professors, fellows, researchers and partners at the European Universitary Institute of Fiesole-Firenze.

Lessons can be arranged in 1to1, 2to1 or small group format (online tutoring is available on request).

As for my way of teaching, in a very few words, I would say that I train my (beginner/elementary) students to do what they are going to do ‘out there’, I mean essentially taking part to conversations, but also get familiar with written/oral texts, and of course develop an eye and an ear to the various ways the language system works. With more advanced students programs are wholly established together.

My lessons can also be helpful to improve your Italian language skills and to explore Italian culture through Cinema, Literature, Politics and (why not?) Cookery.

Last but not least, I organize Italian Language Walking WeekEnds (this is called “L’Italiano in Cammino”).
