What do you know about this beautiful mediterranean plant?
Capers are the green flower buds of the plants, caperberry are the fruits.
On the hills around Florence it is easy to find them. I have picked them.
Caper is the star ingredient for pasta alla putanesca.
Caperberry is perfect with a special aperitivo!

Something nice of the new season is to find mushrooms in the woods. Let me introduce you to Amanite Cesarea, the queen 👑, one of the most appreciated mushroom. I will taste it raw in a salad 🥗. Do you see how cute it is still closed in the egg 🤗?

Those delicious ricotta and spinach gnocchi you find primarily in Tuscany are so tender and creamy!
Gnudi means "naked" and is basically thought to be the naked filling of ravioli without the pasta that surrounds it.
