🇬🇧 On the mat we push a lot and pull very little.
Whether you practice yoga or mat Pilates, your upper back and rotational core rarely get real load. Yet they’re the muscles that support your shoulders when you open your chest and keep you stable as you rotate.
A band asks you to pull against constant resistance that shows you right away where you lose control, so you can adjust as you move.
That strength comes back with you into your practice, especially in backbends and twists.
Which exercise would you add to your practice first?
