A story can be much more than a read-aloud.

For the first days of school, I love using picture books to introduce simple English while talking about feelings, routines, friendship, rules and life in the classroom.

This collection includes 4 stories + 4 mini books, each with a different back-to-school focus:

✨ We Don’t Eat Our Classmates — feelings, empathy, friendship & being a good classmate
👟 Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes — school places, routines & confidence
