Today wasn’t just another ride.
Today I had the privilege to guide through the trails of Finale Outdoor Region.

Hazel lives with xeroderma pigmentosum, a rare condition that makes exposure to UV light dangerous, meaning even simple outdoor moments can become incredibly difficult. After watching her story featured by Pinkbike, meeting her in person and sharing some trails together was truly inspiring.

What impressed me most wasn’t the condition she lives with.
It was her determination, her smile, and the way mountain biking gives her freedom and confidence.

Sometimes bikes are much more than bikes.
They become therapy, friendship, adventure and a way to feel alive again.
