Intuitive Psychoacoustics and Spatial Composition is an immersive workshop exploring the deep psychoacoustic concepts and history behind spatial audio. Through focused listening sessions and discussions, participants will dive into the compositional processes and experiential effects of spatial works, tracing a lineage from pioneers like Éliane Radigue, Iannis Xenakis, David Tudor, and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
The experience extends beyond the studio: participants will lead field outings to listen to and record real-world environmental sounds, ultimately combining these recordings to co-create a collaborative spatial composition.

Rrose is the latest incarnation of Seth Horvitz, an inter-disciplinary artist from California (currently residing in London) whose 25+ year musical history weaves in and out of academic circles and electronic music culture. Their work is informed by ongoing interests in microtonality, the limits of perception, and the idiosyncrasies of machines, which serve to create a distinctly detailed, sensual and hallucinogenic form of techno that challenges the mind and body in equal measure. The project extends into specific pockets of the avant-garde, leading to collaborations with luminaries such as Bob Ostertag and Charlemagne Palestine and reinventions of works by 20th century composers such as James Tenney. On stage, Rrose often stands in the shadows, going by he and she interchangeably (Rrose’s name and image allude to Marcel Duchamp’s female alter-ego) an implied interrogation of gender norms and artistry, albeit with a hint of black humour.

“a billion phones” is a participatory piece in a workshop/walk/performance format, inviting the audience to use their mobile phones as a collective distributed speaker setup in dialogue with the environmental sound and public cityscape.
Through a custom web-based platform built by the artist, the piece turns a group of 10 to 100+ participants into a distributed sound system, using only the speakers and microphones already carried in their pockets. Guided by a simple open-text score, participants anonymously enact a sequence of actions by triggering designated audio materials at specific moments and locations.
Pre-politically, phones, as a medium of composition and performance, propose a temporary reprogramming of everyday technology, shifting mobile phones from tools of control into instruments for anonymous collective intervention and shared play with attention in private and public space.

Ege Şahin (b.1996, Turkey) is an experimental composer and improviser based in the Hague, working across experimental music and sound studies with sensitivity to perception, participation, and metaphysics. His work draws on rational tunings, feedback, noise, and field recordings—using guitar, computer, found objects, and audience’s mobile phones in performances, recordings, and installations.

Young Boy Dancing Group workshop consists of choreographic instructions with a clear and substantial goal: to be part of a group, to dance together, to embody feelings, to explore a sense of safety in stillness with one another and to produce collective highs.
Rather than a series of exercises, the workshop is offered to the participant as an intimate journey with a punk attitude towards modern dance and the possibility to allow ourselves to use vulnerability to dive deep into emotions.

How are toxic masculinity communities evolving online—and what memes, trolls, and tools are they using to spread their ideology? What happens when their ideas start going mainstream?

As part of this research two pieces were presented using a mixed research methodology combining digital anthropology with cultural

Methods of mediation/ re-mediation, datafication and sentiment analysis to investigate algorithmic network transformations . The sources involved in the piece is a vast and on-going research into different forums and language specific to the manosphere.

Artworks
The Manosphere (2025) This video essay follows Oscar, a fictional 14-year-old boy from London, to explore how platforms like TikTok shape young minds through fitness culture, lookmaxxing, alpha male rhetoric, and misogyny. The footage is drawn from a real experiment simulating Oscar’s algorithmic feed.

Game Over (2025) is a sculptural installation of four chess queens, exploring power, gender, and resistance within systems built to suppress. Drawing from the symbolism of the queen—the installation explores how gendered strategies of control mutate over time. The queens no longer serve the logic of victory—they evolve as artifacts of failed mastery, refusing to be optimised. As ideologies of dominance iterate through algorithmic platforms, these figures drift from avatars of power to agents of systemic collapse. Game Over speculates on agency after exhaustion, strategy after failure, and femininity beyond the board.

This project initially unfolds as a game and remains an ongoing exploration.

When everyday narratives fracture and self-perception is quietly reshaped by external data, the project introduces the concept of “Diagnosis”—not as the labeling of diseases or identities, but as a way to trace how environmental inputs like humidity, heart rate, or pressure shape perception and cause subtle disorientation.

Using diary fragments and sensor data, the project generates a virtual character whose inner world is continuously reorganized by these influences. Players reconstruct the character’s shifting state by piecing together scattered information, engaging in an unfolding process of inference and interpretation.

Beyond its original game mechanics, this project now expands into experiments with spoken storytelling and video, fragmenting the narrative into multiple, fluid paths.

“INOCULA”

Inocula is a research installation that explores ways to counteract the increasing microbial collapse of ecosystems in modern environments, by rewilding microbial diversity. Building on the practices of individuals who resist the sterility of modern life like urban fermenters, guerrilla gardeners and DIY biologists, Inocula imagines a collective of people who take microbial agency into their own hands. In a world addicted to classification and control, Inocula cultures other ways of living: entangled, collaborative, alive.

The installation materialises this resistance through fictional tools and rituals: Spore Bombs are deployed as acts of microbial hacking; a Microbial Communion invites visitors to exposure through jewelry; a Biotic Sensing Machine renders invisible presences visible, tracking microbial life across our bodies and surroundings.
