An intelligent sensor developed by F-Lab is at the heart of the new smart electronic faucet unveiled by Dolphin Fluidics at CES 2020 in Losa Angeles!

The remotely controls and manages flow, temperature and quality of water dispensed, providing detailed information not only about the quantity of water that has been consumed, but also about the exact amount of energy used.

Our integrated optical sensor is able to measure, monitor and report the quality of water you drink and the level of carbonation in real time.

It's a new way to dispense and save water

Yesterday, we had the pleasure to host Francesco Butera, Managing Director at Dolphin Fluidics to give a lecture to the students of the Final Synthesis course of the Integrated Product Design degree at Politecnico di Milano. The class, part of the collaboration of Fluid-o-Tech and with the University, focused on business development techniques and diversification strategies with the aim of teaching students how to correctly evaluate the real potential of innovative projects.

We continue our collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, together with Fluid-o-Tech and Dolphin Fluidics, for the Final Synthesis Laboratory of the degree course in Design of industrial products. Yesterday, Fabrizio Tessicini met the students with his "Tools for innovation and technological developments" presentation. He had the opportunity to discuss with millennials about what innovation means for them, the definition most shared and voted has been "Innovation is anything new, useful and surprising". It is interesting to see how this statement really represents the most successful products that are available today on the market, in fact innovation is "originally" new and useful, but surprising? Yes, it is as well. Let's think about those products that had changed our lifestyle for real and for better. Do you agree with this definition of Innovation?

Tonight, we celebrate the European Researchers’ Night, the F-Lab team will be in town to experience the long journey in the world of research, we look forward to collecting new insights in an informal and stimulating environment!
We were born in 2013 because Fluid-o-Tech believes that "Open innovation is not only about acquiring technologies but also about pooling skills". We are an Open Innovation laboratory for intelligent fluidics, they call us the "architects of innovation" because we blend technologies, experiences and skills together. We collaborate with universities, start-ups, research centers and industry experts to explore and develop new solutions and act dynamically to successfully face the innovation challenges. We work on tomorrow’s technologies to make them available today.

A charge of innovation before the holidays! Our team together with Dolphin Fluidics visited the exhibition "Genio e Impresa - Leonardo and Ludovico yesterday and today" promoted by Assolombarda and open to the public at Palazzo Lombardia in Milan until September 15.
