I'm Lauren! :D

I was born in England and lived there with my family until I was 21 years old, then I relocated to Spain for 14 years. More recently, in 2019 I moved countries again to a little village near Rome in Italy. I am currently studying for a Bachelors degree with honours in Arts and Humanities at a University in England. In class I have an enthusiastic, friendly and patient approach. I f

ocus on pronunciation, confidence and fun! I have lived in Spain and speak Spanish to a good level too. I'm currently learning Italian. Whilst at college in England I studied Musical Theatre and Dance and gained two Diplomas plus my dance teaching qualifications. I have danced professionally in many cabaret and variety shows, and street carnivals across Europe and Asia! In 2018 I returned to my love of teaching children and decided to specialise in the area of English as a second language. I worked in a top International School in Spain as a teaching assistant, completed my Master TEFL / TESOL 150 hours Teaching Certificate then started teaching my own students. I have since added the Cambridge University Press Certificate for Teaching IELTS Preparation too. I have gained over 2500+ teaching hours and also teach English at a nursery in my local village in Italy. Recently I have completed an IELTS Teaching Certificate from Cambridge University also. I love to travel and I have visited many countries: Macau, Hong Kong, Egypt, and lots of European countries too. Perhaps I can tell you about some of these places in class! I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, dancing, history, architecture, languages, playing with my dogs and cats, watching documentaries and sitcoms, and yoga! 👧🏻👦🏻 The children all loved colouring the chick picture specifically! 🖍🐥 We used a seasonal worksheet in our nursery class to identify new vocabulary.
