The International School of Turin is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational day School that strives to provide superior education in English, from Nursery through High School (ages 3-18), for students from both the international and local communities of Turin. Starting today, August 1st, the school will be closed for the summer holidays. The Main Office and Admin Office will reopen on August 20th.

🦁🌿 Week 2 of IST Summer Camp 2026 was a true wild adventure! From exploring the jungle with creative crafts and exciting challenges to becoming sea explorers through imaginative classroom activities, our campers embraced every moment with curiosity and big smiles! 🐒🦒🐊🌊

The highlight? Our epic campus sleepover — filled with games, laughter, and unforgettable memories! 🌙🎉🛌 We kept the adventure going with obstacle courses, treasure hunts, Kahoot quizzes, cooking fun, Zero Gravity, nature discoveries, and, of course, well-deserved popsicle breaks! 🍪🏃‍♀️🗺️🍦

A huge roar of applause to our amazing campers and staff for making this jungle-themed week so special. We can't wait to see what new adventures Week 3 has in store! 🌟🌈✨

🎓 Congratulations to the Class of 2026! The IB Diploma results are in, and we are proud to celebrate this significant milestone with our students at IST.

Over the past two years, the Class of 2026 has demonstrated resilience, determination, and a genuine commitment to learning. Their achievements reflect not only their hard work and perseverance but also the dedication and support of our outstanding teachers and school community.

We are delighted to share that our students once again performed well above the global IB average, achieving an average score of 34 points, compared to the global average of 30.8. As an inclusive, non-selective school where every student has the opportunity to pursue the full IB Diploma Programme, these results are especially meaningful.

This year's cohort also achieved excellent individual results, with a highest score of 43 points, 52% of students scoring 35 points or above, and 9% scoring 40 points or more—well above the global average of 5%.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Siviero, our DP Dean, and to our entire team of DP teachers, whose expertise, commitment, and unwavering support have been instrumental in helping our students achieve their goals.

🚑❤️ Learning to save lives starts young! During our Sports Day, our students took part in a fun and interactive BLS (Basic Life Support) workshop with Croce Rossa of Chieri. Through hands-on activities, they learned important life-saving skills, including how to recognize an emergency, call for help, and understand the basics of CPR.

We are proud of their enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn skills that can make a real difference.

Our Maths team had the privilege of attending the First Maths Summit at the Canadian International School of Milan, where educators from across the region came together to share ideas, explore innovative teaching practices, and engage in meaningful professional learning.

The day was filled with inspiring discussions, valuable insights, and opportunities to connect and collaborate with fellow mathematics educators who are passionate about fostering excellence in the classroom.

We are excited to bring new perspectives and strategies back to our students and look forward to continuing the conversations and partnerships sparked at this outstanding event. ✨

Recently, a group of IST students attended the Giococittà Athletics Finals. This event marked the conclusion of the 33rd edition of Giococittà, organised by the Comune di Chieri in collaboration with all the middle schools in Chieri (IST, Quarini, Levi, San Luigi, and Riva).

Despite being the smallest participating group, our students achieved outstanding results, earning 10 podium finishes, including 5 gold medals (Grade 6 Girls’ Middle Distance, Grade 8 Girls’ Middle Distance, Grade 7 Boys’ High Jump, Grade 6 Boys’ Vortex Throw, and Grade 8 Boys’ Vortex Throw).

Congratulations to all our students on this exceptional achievement! 👏👏👏
