The Mediterranean is a cradle of biodiversity, a vital resource for millions of people, and one of the world's most unique ecosystems. Yet, despite what many might think, it is also one of the most polluted seas: although it accounts for just 1% of the planet's waters, it contains around 7% of the world's microplastics.
Protecting the Mediterranean requires concrete action. Through our initiatives in partnership with Ogyre, we proudly support fishermen and local communities collect marine litter and contribute to the protection of our seas and oceans.
