One Another.
Faces, places, timeless apparitions.
Some images arrive before you understand why.
Alisa Resnik started photographing this way, on instinct, long before it became research.
During her lecture she will walks us through her way of seeing: the small shifts in a face, the places that refuse a fixed identity, the moment something briefly finds its balance and becomes a picture. By stripping away the signs of the present, her work slips out of recognisable geographies and into something more ambiguous, emotional, universal.
She also talks about editing not as selection but as discovery. The point where hidden connections surface and a project finds its meaning.
