Matrici Aperte

Matrici Aperte è un progetto indipendente di stampa d’arte e autoproduzioni. Il progetto nasce con la volontà di tessere relazioni e creare socialità. Genera arte critica in relazione ai contesti sociali e politici in cui si immerge. Lavora sulla stampa d’arte tradizionale, applicando le conoscenze tecniche al mondo delle autoproduzioni e dell’editoria indipendente, sperimentando e collaborando con progetti sociali e umani. Matrici Aperte propone laboratori e workshop di incisione calcografica, xilografia e serigrafia. Inoltre, il laboratorio è aperto a tutti, intende svincolarsi da un accesso elitario del mondo laboratoriale e artistico mettendo a disposizione, con un offerta libera, lo spazio, lo scambio di conoscenza, il tempo e i torchi calcografici a chiunque voglia passare delle giornate immerso nella stampa artistica.

Matrici Aperte is an independent printmaking project. It generates conscious art related to the social and political context where it’s set. It works on the traditional printmaking, applying the technical knowledge to the world of the hand-made productions and the independent publishing, experimenting and cooperating with social and human projects. Matrici Aperte offers etching, woodcut and silk-print workshops. Furthermore, the laboratory is open to everybody. It has the will to get away from elitism of art and laboratories. In order to do that, it opens the working spaces, exchange of knowledge, time and printing presses through a free offer to anybody who wish to spend a day working on artistic printmaking.
