Yacademy students stepped into the world of NOA!

The visit kicked off with a guest lecture by the co-founder Lukas Rungger, offering insights into NOA’s approach, philosophy and way of working. From theory to reality, the group then explored a selection of the studio’s projects across South Tyrol, including Hubertus, Floris Green Suites, Messner Haus and Apfelhotel Torgglerhof.

Camila Grimaldi, who attended the course in Architecture for Hospitality in 2025, is now working at Open Project, a multidisciplinary firm of architects, engineers, designers, and technicians working to deliver solutions for all facets of architectural design, from concept to construction.

From September 7 to November 29, 2026, Montecatini Terme will become an international laboratory exploring the relationship between architecture, well-being, and urban transformation.

The first Montecatini Terme Biennale of Architecture and Well-being will involve internationally renowned practices including Kengo Kuma & Associates, AMDL CIRCLE, IBUKU, Jean Nouvel Design, BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, Archea Associati, TAMassociati, COR arquitectos and Orizzontale, through installations, workshops, conferences, and exhibitions hosted across the city’s most iconic locations.

The Biennale is supported by Over and , curated by Yacademy and backed by the Municipality of Montecatini Terme, the Lucca Association of Architects and the Carlo Collodi National Foundation. Wienerberger, De Castelli, KME, Gran Caffè Gambrinus and Goti Arredamenti are participating as technical partners.

A project aimed at bringing value to Montecatini Terme by connecting companies with leading figures in contemporary architecture.
