Meet Krishnakshi from India, one of our ANFIBIA participants. 🇮🇳✨

Krishnakshi brought her own cultural heritage into her journey through the program, enriching ANFIBIA with a unique perspective and contributing to the diversity that lies at the heart of our community.

Through her research, she developed a work rooted in the stories and folklore of her heritage, bringing them into dialogue with contemporary themes, ideas, and realities. The result is a deeply personal exploration where tradition and contemporary artistic practice meet.

Krishnakshi continues her journey exploring contemporary art and movement across Europe, and we wish her all the best for everything that comes next. 💛

How many pairs of shoes does it take to build a stage?
Apparently, quite a few 👞👡👢👡👢👞👡👢

I WAIT

A creation by Miren García M i r e N. during her journey at ANFIBIA 2025/2026

Inspired by her grandparents and by the strange space between waiting, leaving and remembering, the performance moves through repetition, stillness and collective support. Bodies gather, collapse, hold one another and rise again, while the shoes remain as traces of absence, passage and everything left behind.

For this project, Miren also casually showed off her photography skills by capturing portraits of her grandparents and their lives, displayed in an exhibition at the entrance to the performance.

Minimal, dramatic, slightly surreal and proof that sometimes the first step is simply finding enough shoes 👞👡👞👢👡👢👞👞

PS. Keep scrolling to see the pile become a platform, a landscape, a departure point — and the setting for some unexpectedly iconic, almost Michael Jackson–level balancing.

🍀At ANFIBIA, there are no fixed formats, only possibilities 🍀

Participants are encouraged to think beyond conventional performance, exploring different artistic tools and allowing disciplines to intersect. Film, movement, sound, text, public space... every medium becomes part of the creative process.

For lost & found, Maria Baindurashvili Maria combined cinema with a live outdoor performance, showing how storytelling can unfold across screens, bodies, and spaces.

A special thanks to Offside Pescarola for opening their space to this multidisciplinary experiment.

A selection of SMILE...Or whatever this is 🙃

A happy smile.
A passive-aggressive smile.

After 8 months of research, experimentation, and creative chaos, ANFIBIA 2025/2026 participants presented their final projects—and somehow still had the energy to smile for the audience!

One thing we love about ANFIBIA is that no two projects ever look the same. Participants are free to explore what matters to them, follow strange ideas, take risks, and make work they actually care about.

ANFIBIA 2025/2026 is over.

Throwback to the backstage moments of CRUDO Festival 2026 ✨

Laughter, discussions, curiosity, exhaustion, brainstorming, preparation, and endless adjustments—everything that happens before the lights go on.

Since October 2025, ANFIBIA participants have dedicated countless hours to training, rehearsing, creating, and refining their work. What began as ideas, dreams, and personal stories finally came to life on stage from 28–30 May.
