MAGIA DI NATALE

La magia del Natale è iniziata ed è arrivato il momento di fare gli auguri!

Con un pizzico di follia, panettone e brindisi, auguriamo a tutti (ma proprio TUTTI) Buone Feste!

L’8 DICEMBRE NON CI SIAMO!
E vuoi sapere dove andiamo?
Sciarpa, guanti, cappello e… vieni con noi! La stagione dei Mercatini di Natale è già iniziata!
La magia delle luci, dei profumi e del gusto del Natale…. stelline e candele, vin brulè, musica soffusa e pan di zenzero. Nessuno può fare a meno di restarne incantato!
Se non hai ancora programmato nulla per questo “long weekend” e stai decidendo per una soluzione last minute, non scordare i ricchissimi mercatini natalizi dell’Alto Adige, del Trentino e del Friuli-Venezia Giulia!
Se invece preferisci un weekend fuori dall’Italia ecco alcune mete che vi consigliamo (consigli di chi proviene proprio dal Nord Europa, e che di Natale se ne intende!)
- Budapest rappresenta la vera magia dei mercatini di Natale alla Basilica di Santo Stefano
- Basilea ruba il cuore grazie alla sua incantevole atmosfera natalizia
- Metz considerato il più bello mercatino natalizio in terra di Francia
- Vienna ti aspetta trasformando tutte le sue piazze più belle in sfavillanti mercatini di Natale
- Treviri (Trier), forte dei suoi 30 anni di esperienza, è considerato come il più bel mercatino natalizio in Germania!

Have you ever heard someone yelling "BEAUTIFUL COCONUUUUT!" at the seaside?
If not, you've probably never had a vacation in Italy.

The scream "Cocco bello!" means that someone is selling fresh and tasty coconut. The pitchman walks from one side of the beach to the other one and keeps shouting to... uhm... advertise his products! If you want to buy a piece of coconut, you just have to stop him.

Children usually become super excited - they can probably get a healthy snack!

Adriano Celentano (born 6 January 1938) is an Italian singer, songwriter, musician, actor and filmmaker. He is dubbed "il Molleggiato" (the flexible one) because of his dancing. Celentano is also recognized for being particularly perceptive of changes in the music business. He is credited for having introduced rock and roll to Italy, a genre that held great appeal to young people at that time.

This ironic song sounds like English (at least to an Italian)... but the words are totally made up!
The singer wanted to stress how communication was (and is) difficult - we're no longer able to listen and understand each other, we pretend to do so.

So, enjoy this funny song!

Imagine you've just seen an ad - a luxury hotel room at a very low price. You look into the offer and find out that the room offered it's an old single bed in the basement.
An Italian would say "qui casca l'asino!" (here falls the donkey!).

This expression means "that's where the problem/trick lies".

🤔 But why the donkey?
In Italian "donkey" also means "dumb", "ignorant" - so donkeys aren't good at solving problems... and they fall at the first obstacle!

She started her career at just 17 years-old and became very famous thanks to Sanremo Festival, an important Italian music festival.

She sings in English and also in Spanish! She's famous also in South America for her songs.

"What does not kill me makes me stronger" (in German "Was mich nicht umbringt macht mich stärker") is part of aphorism number 8 from the "Maxims and Arrows" section of Friedrich Nietzsche's Twilight of the Idols. (How do I know? Wikipedia, folks! 😝).

In Italian there are two versions of this quote - "Se non uccide, fortifica" (true to the original) and... "Se non ammazza, ingrassa" (What does not kill them makes them fatter).

This second version is referred to Italians' favourite thing - food of course!
If the dish in front of you doesn't look tasty you can talk yourself into eating it saying "Se non ammazza, ingrassa". Your food doesn't look good, but you give it a shot 😁
