4 main things to be done on the Day of Arafah.

1- At-Takbeer ‎التكبير after the obligatory prayers, starting after the Fajr Prayer on the Day of Arafah.

2- Fasting (for the one who is capable and not performing Hajj) - it will wipe away 2 years worth of sins.

3- Saying التهليل (At-Tahleel) in abundance, i.e. "
لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير
La ilaaha illa Allahu Wahdahu La Shareeka Lahu Lahul Mulku Walahul Hamdu Wahuwa Alaa Kulli Shayin Qadeer".

4- Making pleanty of Dua, asking Allah for whatever you want, focusing on seeking Allah's forgiveness and being freed from the Hell-Fire, as this is the most day of the year in which Allah frees His slaves from the Fire.

After this long day of worship, Allah ﷻ rewards us the following day with the best day of the year, the day of Eid Al-Adha.
So work hard today to truly experience the joy of Eid, because the real joy of Eid is celebrating the blessing of Islam and the fact that Allah ﷻ has guided us to His worship.
