The paper explores the application of agentic AI - one of the latest and most advanced digital technology innovations - to improve construction management processes. ✨
The paper is co-funded by the ET4Digital project.

ET4Digital project

Benedict project partners TalTech - Tallinna Tehnikaülikool and Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna are very pleased to be continuing work on the development of digital education and skills for construction industry innovation. We are now working together in the 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (ET4Digital) project coordinated by IIPLE (Scuola Edile di Bologna).

After research mapping digital technologies in the construction sector led by R2M Solution, a hybrid Stakeholders Panel event was hosted by ΠΕΔΜΕΔΕ in Athens, Greece and online on 15th April 2025. We now look forward to developing an 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 for use by construction sector teachers and trainers. This part of the project will be led by Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna.

The Benedict project team came together for the final international event - a short-term joint staff training course which took place from June 19th-21st at the TalTech campus in Tallinn. In total, 18 delegates from the three partner universities, TTK University of Applied Sciences and REC industry representatives attended.

Benedict team members Kalle Kähkönen (Tampere University) and Raido Puust (TalTech) attended the InfraBIM Open 2023 conference in Tampere, Finland (30th January - 1st February 2023) and made a presentation entitled: "BIM-enabled Learning Environment as an Educational Solution".

We are pleased to announce that Benedict project is now collaborating with DiRoots https://diroots.com to develop a Moodle plugin for their DiStella https://diroots.com/apps/distellar/ IFC online viewer which will allow BIM model viewing, data export and more from the BIM-enabled Learning Environment.
