Thanks to Enac-Eu projects to talk about the project itself, the best practices in we were able to collect and tools that can be used when working in international environments

๐ฃ After exactly two years, the partners of the Tovet Together for future VETskills project met in Bologna for a 3-day project meeting.
๐ฏ The focus of the first day was on the administrative aspects and on the development of each work package.

On June 28, in Italy, was held the national workshop on the ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ช๐ถ๐ต๐ญ๐จ๐ท ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐
The event took place as part of the TOVET project which has among its objectives to support the development of an internationalization strategy at providersโ level, fostering the mobility of leaders, staff and VET learners, as well as the establishment of cooperation partnerships.
Itโs been a moment of reflection to talk about the future of VET in Europe, deepening the issues and opportunities offered by the new Erasmus+ programme ๐คฉ

โโInternationalisation of VET providers is now considered of great importance, since it allows to increase the reputation of the centre and gives students and staff the opportunity to get in touch with their peers from other countries to exchange ideas and practices with the result of improving the overall quality of the training offerโโ
Here are the main steps to develop an international strategy:

Find partners in your home country and abroad
โ
Map your existing internationalization activities using the method of storytelling
โ
Understand the core skills - Staff professional development
โ
Examine the mission and values.
โ
Formulate the vision and set strategic goals
โ
Decide on an action plan: define the operational goals, activities, procedures and resources for the agreed actions including their indicators
๐The participants had also the occasion to see a study case, that of Vamia, a multidisciplinary vocational education organization in Finland.

Have you never heard of open badges? ๐ง
๐Open Badges make it possible to make skills and competences more visible and comparable in the European labor market. Technology offers education professionals the opportunity to break down the barriers that exist between different forms of learning: formal, informal and non-formal. With the badges it is possible to extend the recognition of learning outside the formal school environment to all aspects of the student's life.
