MULTIPLIER EVENT – 12th June 2019
A great number of teachers of middle and high schools, parents, representatives of Job Agencies, of Ministry of Labour, of Training Centres, of Companies Federations, of local authorities were actively involved in the event. It was, also, an officially training and updating activity for teachers, respecting the conditions provided for by Education Ministry .
After the welcoming of the teacher Sabrina Scura – Responsible for Counseling in IPSIA L. Santarella, Mrs Marisa Critelli, teacher of English and member of Erasmus + team, explained aims and activities of the project, mentioning and thanking the schools and institutions taking part in this project for all the obtained results.
Then the most important and interesting result of the project, the Career Guidance and Counseling Guide was analysed. Mr. Gaetano Liuzzi, the representative of the project showed the different peculiar methodologies developed in the partner countries, aiming at future implementations during the next school year. Great importance was given to the precious contribution of employment statistical data during the counseling phase and the positive contribution the companies can give in the phase when students choose the course of studies.
The teacher Rosanna Brienza – Coordinator of IPSIA Santarella site – spoke about the various points of counseling linked to students with special needs, topic of the next Erasmus + in IPSIA Santarella.
Moreover it was used a simulation of the innovative “Sorprendo”, the software for counseling proposed by Umbria Training Center, with which the participants tested themselves under the supervision of Mrs Cecilia De Laurentis – technical assistant in Computer Laboratory in IPSIA L. Santarella.
During the final debate with the chairwoman Mrs Sabrina Scura, who registered a great participation, the main positive aspects proposed by the Career Guidance and Counseling Guide were considered and laid the foundations for an implementation work among the teachers and the representatives of those various organizations present to the event.

A12 Workshop Development for Agricolture – 29th May 2019
A workshop called “TECHnical partNership towards Innovation and Cooperation for VET” took place on Wednesday 29th May at the Town Hall in Bitetto (BA), organised by IPSIA L. Santarella.
This workshop focused on the technological innovation brought by the new applications of sensorial tools to agriculture.
Mr. Piero Ungaro, who works at Bosch, introduced the technical aspects of the subject. The system, created and distributed by the company, monitors both the indoor and the outdoor cultivation constantly, in order to prevent them from damages caused by the weather, to check the irrigation system and to limit the water resource. This system can be managed by an app downloaded on a smartphone.
The students of Maintenance and Technical Assistance course in L. Santarella, Bitetto took part, since they are particularly interested into this project that can enhance the productivity of their land.
Furthermore, the Councillor of Agricultural Politics in Bitetto Luisa Palmisano, the representatives of the Agricultural Confederation Coldiretti and the Cooperative Oil Mill of Bitetto and the teachers who work at IPSIA L. Santarella participated to this event.

Workshop with MANPOWER - “IPSIA Santarella” Bari e Bitetto – 9 e 17th May 2019
This event was addressed to the students and the Employment Agencies and the representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social politics.This meeting is organized within the ERASMUS+ “TECHNIC” project.
Some months before the final days of school, the students of the 5th year were introduced into the typical process of labour market. Differently from the previous workshop held in Bitetto (BA), this workshop focused the attention on how to look for a job in every step: how to write and modify a Curriculum Vitae, what to know about the company where to apply for, how to manage the psychological aspect of the interview, what strategies to follow in order to succeed in the interview.
The representative of Manpower, Dr. Michele Paglia, answered all the questions made by the students using useful audio-visual material and making real examples, in order to persuade the students to make contact with his company or other important international job agencies.
The workshop was moderated over by the teachers Marisa Critelli and Gaetano Liuzzi, members of the staff of the ERASMUS+ VET project.

VET Day 14 May 2019 IPSIA L. Santarella (Bari).
The staff of the ERASMUS+ "TECHNIC” has carried out a dissemination at school.
The climax was the meeting of all the teachers of the three sites of school Santarella, headed by the Principal Stefano Marrone, who spoke about the activities and the products made into action.
First, teacher G. Occhiogrosso showed a video called Newsletter n.3 which explained the Transantional meeting of Italian, Romanian and German partners in Bari at the end of March. The teachers has also talked about the content of the Orienteering Guide.Then, teacher M. Critelli introduced the Notebook of Jobsand the E-Book of interviews made to former students of Santarella. For some of them the working path can be considered a “successful story”.
Finally, teacher G. Liuzzi talked about both the material of the virtual museum.
Regarding the dissemination activities, the staff members had the pleasure to inform about the 1800 visualizations of the radio interview about the ERASMUS+ project on Facebook .

Workshop ,,Vocational and technical education - A NEW BEGINNING"!
For Alba County, as for the whole country, the re-launch of vocational and technical education is a breath of oxygen, both for young people who would like to focus on this type of education, seeking to increase their chances of finding a job in the future due to specialized training, but also for the economic sector, which can attract qualified staff in various segments. The Alba County Council supports this initiative through the "TECHnical part-nership to Innovation and Cooperation for VET" project, run through the Erasmus Program. Today, at a meeting held at "1 Decembrie 1918" Alba Iulia, an important step was taken in this project by bringing together the actors involved in VET.
