On 10 November 2023, the President of the Italian Republic his excellency Sergio Mattarella visited the at the during his state visit to .

During the visit Fulvio Rinaudo summarized the main results achieved by the project and illustrated, thanks to the collaboration of Saidislom Usmanov and some students of the , some results achieved.

It was highlighted that thanks to various contributions from the Polytechnic of , the and the , the Laboratory has expanded in terms of instruments (high resolution digital camera, drone, automatic digital photogrammetry software) and has already participated, with the coordination of Saidislom Usmanov, in some projects on the national territory where the instruments and experiences of our students have been valorised.

Aziza Abdurakhmanova, coordinator of NEO in Uzbekistan, was also present at the visit.
