🇪🇺 ERASMUS DAYS 2026 | OUR ROOTS, OUR STORIES, OUR EUROPE 🌿🏡✨
Erasmus+ connects Europe: students discovering rural communities and the heritage we share!
On the occasion of , AMFI International in collaboration with AMBECO Avezzano, invites international partners and students from Finland, Lithuania and Hungary 🇫🇮🇱🇹🇭🇺 to a special walk exploring the beauty, traditions and stories of our local villages.
Inspired by the motto of the 2026 edition, “Learning and Growth: Skills for Tomorrow,” the event will bridge the local and European dimensions, transforming our region into an open-air learning laboratory where good practices, innovative ideas, and educational experiences can be shared.
🌍 What does Erasmus+ mean to us? How do our rural areas shape who we are, and what heritage do we share with other European communities?
These are the questions at the heart of our event. Students will take centre stage, sharing their experiences and reflections on Erasmus+, presenting their home regions and discovering the connections between their local traditions, landscapes, cultural identities and European heritage.
🏡 Our villages are more than places on a map. They are living repositories of memories, traditions, craftsmanship, local knowledge and ways of life passed down through generations. By exploring them together, students will discover that, despite our different languages and backgrounds, we share many values, challenges and cultural roots.
🤝 Through Erasmus+, students will have the opportunity not only to discover new places and perspectives, but also to recognise the value of their own roots, take pride in their local heritage and understand how rural communities contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable and connected Europe.
⭐ We are delighted to welcome Ester Mordini, Erasmus+ EDA Ambassador for Abruzzo appointed by the Italian National Agency INDIRE, who will share her experience and insights into the transformative power of adult learning and European cooperation in local communities.
✨ Because Erasmus+ is not just about travelling abroad. It is about discovering who we are, learning from one another and realising how much we have in common.
