I've been feeling a bit meh the last couple of days. Yesterday I built a blanket fort and stayed there except for the calls I had to make.

Today I'm feeling a bit more like me because I gave myself a talking to and because I have 2 brilliant events to look forward to that I know are going to fire up my engines and relight my gas.

The first is the 'Refirement' event on 29th Oct with Wendy Garcarz (Wendy share the booking link in the comments) where a bunch of mature business women will be meeting to get involved in an incredible business growth and support initiative.

The second is our Return to More Event on 2nd Nov at Hoar Cross. We have filled almost all the places (we limited to 20 so that we get the right balance and atmosphere) and our Warrior Collective of Sarah Spare, Tana Macpherson-Smith, Wendy Garcarz, Tina Steele, Trina Kavanagh-Thomas and Olivia Beardsmore are ready to absolutely restore my awesome and that of our attendees.

Looking forward to an afternoon of goody bag loading with Jacque Drain on Fri 1st as we prep the event.

No time to feel crappy, time to get happy.

So the chancellor has scrapped winter fuel payments for pensioners not on means tested benefits. Reporter Jane Merrick says that, 'Labour sources said there were no plans to change eligibility for the perks'.
PERKS! (this included bus passes and free TV licenses).
I get that Millionaires over 60 don't need the payments, and I get that those worse off will still get them, but what about those just above that magic benefits v income line? Struggling on maybe the equivalent of the minimum wage while still paying mortgages.
Meanwhile the government spends billions on refugees, sends money to China and India and claims to need to fill a black hole (conveniently materialised) left by the tories.
As usual the pensioners who have paid in for years suffer. Those who have never worked a day in their lives and never saved get it on a plate.
I was 60 last week. All my working life until fairly recently my plan was to be retired now. That's gone, What's next?
I don't usually do politics but I am really angry about this.
