I promise, it’s not what it looks like!
Let me explain. 😅👇🏻
I am not a professional baker, I am a teacher and translator and founder of 👩🏻‍🏫but also unbelievable passionate about baking and not very good at smiling in front of a camera, apparently. 🙈

I felt it was about time to introduce myself to those who don’t know me yet, and what picture would best describe me?👩🏻‍🍳👈🏼
I have dedicated a great deal of time of my life to cakes, most certainly, but spent far more on learning linguistics and education, and this is probably why I ended up being a teacher as supposed to a cake designer. But one, that does teach English through cake design! 🍰🇬🇧👇🏻👇🏻Keep reading till the bottom of the caption to know how 👇🏻👇🏻

My background includes a BA degree in modern languages, a membership to the British Institute of Translation and Interpreting, ten years in the aviation industry and a fair amount of life-long training on didactics, linguistics, social sciences on top of endless interests and passions that keep me busier and busier. And happy! 😁

That said, my one and only focus is to always aim to make my lessons and courses an enjoyable experience whether it be for adult or young learners.

So, it was with immense pleasure that I received very rewarding feedback this morning from the mother of one of my youngest students, who was pleased to see her child’s interest in the English language and culture having a boost 🤩🥳🥳

If this isn’t the biggest achievement for an English teacher, I don’t know what would be.💪🏼

Going back to cakes and English, I’m thrilled to see next appointment with Make&Bake coming closer: Saturday 26th March we’ll bake…

Che significato ha in questa strofa il verbo TO DO? 🧐
Ma è ovvio! È solo un ausiliare che ci serve per fare le risposte brevi…
Ti ricordi le risposte brevi in inglese, vero? 🥶

Un verbo con una lunghissima e brillante carriera alle spalle, ma che proprio per questo si ritrova ora a fare il lavoro di tantissimi altri verbi, perché viene chiamato in causa ogni volta che un verbo meno esperto (quasi tutti 😅) deve fare una domanda o una negazione 🤦🏻

Ma non credere, è un grosso lavoro per Sir Do dovere intervenire tutte le volte che si fa un’interrogativa, una risposta breve, una negativa…🤯

Osservatelo bene.👀
Oramai ha una certa età, e direi anche una certa stazza…
Secondo te, gli va di lavorare così tanto? 😰

Cari ragazzi,
non fermatevi al voto del compito in classe o al giudizio espresso sulla pagella!🚫
