Tveir grunnnemar við Háskóla Íslands, þeir Todor Miljevic og Wiktor Sobczynski, hafa verið valdir til þátttöku í SURF (Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship) við Caltech í Kaliforníu í sumar. Þar munu þeir vinna að rannsóknaverkefnum í tíu vikur undir handleiðslu vísindamanna við einn fremsta rannsóknaháskóla heims.
Samstarf Háskóla Íslands og Caltech hefur staðið frá árinu 2008 og frá upphafi hafa vel á fimmta tug nemenda frá HÍ tekið þátt í SURF-rannsóknaverkefnum við skólann.

Two University of Iceland undergraduate students, Todor Miljevic and Wiktor Sobczynski have been selected to participate in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) programme at Caltech in California this summer. Over the course of ten weeks, they will work on research projects under the supervision of Caltech faculty and researchers at one of the world's leading research universities.
The partnership between the University of Iceland and Caltech dates back to 2008, and since then, more than forty University of Iceland students have taken part in SURF research projects at the university.

Níu nemendur Háskóla Íslands halda í sumar til Stanford-háskóla í Kaliforníu þar sem þau taka þátt í International Honors Program (IHP).
Skólarnir hafa átt samstarf um sumarnám frá árinu 2010. Á þessum fimmtán árum hafa yfir hundrað nemendur HÍ fengið þetta einstaka tækifæri til að stunda nám við Stanford og nú bætast níu við þann hóp.
Við óskum þeim góðrar ferðar og námsdvalar!

Nine students from the University of Iceland will travel to California this summer to take part in the International Honors Program (IHP) at Stanford University.
The University of Iceland and Stanford University have partnered on this summer study programme since 2010. Over the past fifteen years, more than one hundred University of Iceland students have had the unique opportunity to study at Stanford, and this summer nine more students will take part in the programme.
We wish them a safe journey and enjoyable study experience!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a fruitful work meeting at Hvanneyri with colleagues from international offices of Icelandic universities and RANNÍS, our always helpful National Agency.
It was great to work and discuss with such dedicated professionals who are passionate about advancing internationalisation in higher education and strengthening the implementation of Erasmus+ Ísland opportunities for our students and staff.
