How numbing, inhibiting, and embarrassing this feeling, right? Since you are dealing with arts, one of the most complicated areas to estimate its products, you might face ‘imposter syndrome’, either you recognize it or not. ⠀
⠀
Remind what you usually tell yourself: «My work isn’t perfect yet», «I’m not ready to show it to anyone», «I didn’t do anything valuable to ask (so much) money for it» and so forth. ⠀
It is exactly, what is the imposter syndrome about. I heard it so many times from so talented artists around the world. I also heard it from myself while I listened to compliments regarding to my tango skills, even knowing how much effort, time, and money I invested to reach the level.
⠀
The good news is that we all have it, especially ambitious people. Bad news we can’t entirely erase this syndrome. Only consider and work with it properly. And yeah, it is a long path, but a beautiful one. Because you will see unchaining from the first days you start to work on it. ⠀
⠀
👉WHAT DO WE LOSE by letting that state maintain? Joy, pleasure, satisfaction from the work. And even opportunities, time, and finally prominent progress.
👉WHAT DO WE GET by doing so? Stagnation, depression, stress, limitations, etc. ⠀
⠀
You might disagree with the point. It is totally understandable. You might say that perfectionism is actually your straight. It allows you to make something ideal, high-quality products, or whatever. ⠀
⠀
Well, let’s think about what is perfection. Does it exist? What defines it? Who defines it?
⠀
Then, let’s check out bios of the most outstanding artists of the time. Are you sure that they were doing their works PERFECT technically? ⠀
⠀
Share your opinion on this issue. ⠀
Do you consider yourself a perfectionist?

"I see that it will be the shift of technologies moving from gaming into event-oriented, providing music and event industries with solutions", Olaf Furniss said (founder at Wide days, annual Scotland's music convention).
There was an interesting interview yesterday with the founder and organizer of business music events and music export programs in Scotland.
We have discussed the current global disaster for music market players alongside with tendencies, opportunities, warnings and estimated solutions to overcome the circumstances.
Full version of interview is coming soon.

If you are asking yourself what you are supposed to do with all this breaking plans, cancelling concerts, public art gatherings and other changes...then just keep going with your work! Think of this enormous amount of people who are frozen, frustrated and doing nothing for now. Any crisis always has huge opportunities. Always. Just look at them. Just see the space for your development. ⠀
⠀
What can you do during quarantine? ⠀
⠀
- Work at your projects (record new albums, create new paintings, finish your previous projects and so on).⠀
- Build up your brand identity. It is such a nice and quiet time to think deeply.⠀
- Put in order your stuff. You'll see your path clear after that and next steps will be easier to make.⠀
- Work on your social networks both content, engaging followers.⠀
- Look for sponsors. It always needs time to create a great presentation and make list of potential sponsors, funds and so on.⠀
- Make online event and sell tickets for it.⠀
- Create or improve your website or landing page.⠀
- Look for clients, partners. ⠀
- Make stories and live videos for your followers.
- Set up or optimize advertising.⠀
- Educate yourself with online courses, workshops and any online gatherings for area.
- Attend online mastermind groups or organize yours.
- Make a plan for your work distribution.⠀
⠀
And let's remind everybody that it is art (in any form) which supposes to unite people. Then do it! Do your art, music, films and art projects. ⠀
⠀
Do what you are passionate about and share your love with this word! ⠀
Use your great time! ❤️

- You know, I can't stop thinking about that mandarin. Just want to eat it.
- Then do it... Well, you have to know that now you are eating my sculpture... It was a fun conversation-situation happened with an artist of BETA SUR Rodrigo Rodriguez even before knowing that he is the creator of those awesome sculptures.
