Living Archives - Nordic Music Days 2016 Living Archives explores archiving and documenting as methods of sharing the music at Nordic Music Days 2016. More here: http://bit.ly/2d14HGq

During NMD Living Archives will invite audience and artists to engage with the ideas behind the music played at NMD, through sound, scores, ephemera and a programme of artist presentations in a temporary Living Archives Library in Harpa. In a Living Archives workshop on Saturday Oct 1 percussionist and video artist Ross Karre and his rKAD documentation team will present their artistic approach to documenting contemporary music in general and NMD 2016 in particular. The workshop will also invite NMD artists to pick up and discuss questions that arise during the process of creating the library.
