as a goldsmith and a glass artist who better to fix this menagerie. Fixing things is more stressful than making them, especially if they are irreplaceable, but although this was difficult, some strong magnifying glasses and careful gluing with a specialized glass glue saved the day.

After reading something on the net I got all excited about the glass baubles we found in a vintage shop before Christmas. I took down all the packed away decorations, of course they were in the last box, and examined them, they are not vintage Kugel ( and worth 10 times the price we paid) but still nice copies. There was nothing left to do but photograph them and put everythingl back until December.
