Icelandic Culture and Craft offers knitting courses in the spectacular surroundings of Hvammstangi. Maximum number of participants in each course is 12.
A great importance is placed on personal service and to teach our participants to appreciate quality crafts work and to learn the right techniques. Included in each course are knitting needles, a pattern book and wool for one garment of choice, as well as the bus fares (when appropriate). Lunch and coffee are available for all participants at the Hotel Laxnes. Short presentations will be given on the history of the Icelandic lopapeysa (woolsweater) and development of crafts in Iceland.

Þetta ágæta fólk og nokkrir í viðbót eru ástæða þess að ég er búin að vera í bænum svona lengi. Auk þessa fórum við í heimsókn í sveitina, á þjóðminjasafnið fleira. Skemmtilegir gestir og áhugasamir um íslenskt handverk. Thank you all.
