Hello! This is Icelandic Connect, a group ran by volunteers for anyone wanting to learn Icelandic or improve their Icelandic skills.
We will be holding weekly classes and teaching various principles concerning grammar, and pronunciation.

ANNOUNCEMENT!!! All classes will be canceled beginning today, and will resume on September 8th due to the church building being closed. We are sad to not be with you for a week but look forward to starting again soon!

We will be beginning the Icelandic 1 and 2 courses over again starting next week. The schedule is posted below. Icelandic 1 is at the beginning level, and Icelandic 2 is advanced. Please message us for information. We will also be posting the whatsapp group qr code. In whatsapp we will announce cancelations or further updates regularly. See you all soon!

If you have been learning icelandic 1 with us, or know the basics from somewhere else and would like to take the next step, come join us!
Icelandic 2 classes will be held at no cost on Fridays at 18:00

Hi everybody! Thanks for all the responses. We will be having classes Saturdays at 11:00 and another on Tuesdays at 18:30, it will cover the same material.
We'll start on Tuesday the 18th and Saturday the 22nd and go from there! Classes will be at Ásabraut 2 in Garðabær. There will be no online link.

Hello! Third time is the charm (hopefully) everyone should allowed to access the form. If not just comment below what times would work best for you.
We will start another Icelandic connect course next week. This class is taught by volunteers and it is free.
You can sign up for this class from the link attached to this post. Please when you sign up choose the times when you could attend the class. The times in the sign up are NOT times when the class will be held, they are for us to see when you would be available to attend this class. We will determine by your availability two different times a week when we will hold the Icelandic Connect. We will announce on SATURDAY morning when the classes will be held.
