IEEE University of Tehran Student Branch was approved by the IEEE headquarters in Apr. 1996, Followed by regional activities committee approval on Feb. 14th 1997. We are the first student branch established in Iran Section, Since then, we have tried our most to introduce IEEE and it’s goals to our fellow classmates and other universities in our region as well. It was initially combined with the Association of the scientific affairs at the Electrical engineering department of University of Tehran; This made us double engaged to the on-the-way events and the broad view our members had through these years, made this branch a well-disciplined and organized establishment to help the students bloom. It gets more high-valued when we put it aside the fact that University of Tehran, through 80 years, has been instructing the best students among Middle East. In the last three years, there has been a “Push” in the Volunteer activities of this student branch. We have served many opportunities for the interested students to participate in, That Include organizing extracurricular classes, different workshops and visits, professional talks and conferences, handing particular projects in groups and helping for special issues or events in the campus.
