CALL FOR PAPERS:

================

The 5th Joint Conference of AI & Robotics/ 7th Robocup Iranopen International Symposium will be held on April 12, 2015 in Qazvin in conjunction with RoboCup IranOpen 2015. The RoboCup IranOpen is an annual international robotics competition that has been held every year since 2005 and now attracts teams from many countries, including the USA, Japan, Korea, Germany, The Netherlands, and Mexico. The Symposium was introduced later to provide a parallel forum for presentation and discussion of scientific contributions in all research and education sub-fields of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Due to its interdisciplinary nature and intimate connections of theory and practice, it offers an excellent venue to introduce new techniques to/from various scientific disciplines and identify important new trends and challenges in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Participants (speakers and attendees) in the Symposium are welcome to attend and/or participate in the robot competition events, but they are not required to do so.

We are pleased to invite submissions of papers presenting original high-quality research in AI and Robotics. We welcome papers describing applied and/or theoretical research, as well as innovative educational experiences. Submitted papers can be in English or Farsi and are limited to 7 pages using the IEEE formatting for papers in English and the format available in the Symposium's website for papers in Farsi. All papers must be electronically submitted on the Symposium's website (http://symp2015-iranopen.ir). Submissions must include the manuscript PDF file excluding the author(s) information section attached and the source doc file of the entire manuscript including the author(s) information section. All contributions will be blind-reviewed by at least two reviewers. We are in the process of seeking final approval to have the accepted papers indexed by IEEE Xplore.
