In consonance with the announcement made by ISC concerning Iranian highly cited researchers, different indicators were evaluated using data extracted from ESI and WoS databases over a ten years period.
The methodology investigating citation indicator and other indicators including cited/citing (all citations), self-citation per paper, %self-citation and cited/citing (self-citations excluded) was developed.
Prof. Niyaz Mohammad Mahmoodi as an Iranian highly cited researcher was featured and his performance was evaluated.

We are saddened to announce the loss of Prof. Thomas Brock who was a privilege to know. He delivered his speech at ICCC 2021 last Friday, came to visit Iran 6 times and shared his up-to-date knowledge with the seminars’ participants to the utmost. He served a pivotal role for CCPR to join FATIPEC. He was kind and sincere and was familiar to the paints industry of Iran. During the past 13 years of travelling to Iran, he made many friends. Although his life ended before we were ready, the time that he spent in our lives was memorable.
